yes... finals and semester 1 of my sophomore year of college are complete. thank goodness. today was pretty much horrible. my roommate of 3 semester and the girl who knows me probably better than anyone moved out today. that was horribly hard. i didn't expect it to be so hard to watch her go. we've had so much fun over these last 3 semesters and grown so fond of each other. i do believe we were to the point that we could complete eachothers sentences. we just kinda stood in our semi-empty room crying our goodbyes to each other... a sad sight to say the least. i envy that she got to go to her car and head home as opposed to staying here to take another final before heading home the next day. man, lauren and i really had some amazing fun. we found the dumbest things funny, but that's how we worked, we knew each other so well that we could make fun out of literally anything. this sounds like the sad ending to a happy story. i guess it is sort of, but i'd really prefer to think of it as the closure of one chapter, and we'll pick back up in a slightly different fashion next year. i really would just like to go home now and forget about this till january when i come back and she heads to london though. i'm so happy that she gets to spend a semester in london, how cool. i just wish i were going.
in every respect other than lauren having to leave, i'm so glad this semester is over. it's been long and amazingly trying. i've learned that i can survive a lot... but i don't want to experience all of that ever again. last night zach said that i've worried him all semester cause i seemed so stressed a lot of the time. i couldn't say much to that, but lisa jumped in and said,' zach, if only you knew everything that girl has gone though.' so good-bye semester, hello much needed winter break. on another happier note, my cousin Nikki had her twins today, Emma and Alaina. i'm quite excited to go home and see them, not to mention all the rest of the family. and i'm going to the nutcracker ballet with my parents and my mom's office tomorrow night.
so i've got some good things ahead of me. yeah, i have to say that life can be hard, but it always throws some good things in there with it all to keep you going. ya just gotta keep going, that's all there is to it. until later.... bubye

awww, i just realized that i hadn't been checking your blog because i wasn't on my computer with your link in favorites. :-P thanks for the birthday wishes from way back when. sounds like fun with the jeep in the snow. okay, ttyl.
